Now we’re ready to learn more about what it means to be a prophet and what prophecy is. We’ll explore six different roles the prophets played and what God required of them personally to fully understand their own messages. We’ll also learn about six different kinds of prophecy. 

Would it surprise you to know that there was ongoing conflict between the biblical prophets and other prophets who had a different message? And that it was probably pretty hard to tell the difference at times? 

It wasn’t easy being a prophet then, and it’s not easy accepting God’s call today either. Let’s see what it’s like for any of us to go down this road.
