Lesson Overview
Does God really test us? Why would He do this? How does He do this? In this first lesson, you will discover that God tests everyone and that He tests you for your good. Learn why you are to rejoice when you experience life’s trials and discover that they are actually God’s tests of faith, hand-crafted by God Himself so that you may be “perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
Lesson Objectives
When you complete this lesson, you should be able to:
- Explain what the Bible reveals about tests of faith.
- Explain how we can know that life’s trials are really God’s tests of faith and why understanding the difference is important.
- Identify why God sends tests of faith to believers.
- Identify the five parts of every test of faith.
- Describe the structure of every test of faith.
Personal Reflection
As you proceed through this lesson have the following question in mind.
When you face trials in life, how do you feel about them? How do you feel toward God?
