Most of us can identify the words, “It’s just not worth it” when enduring a test of faith. Describe how the “Cost-to-Benefit” chart challenged that thinking.

Nearly everyone identifies with the Loop Pattern when the Lord reteaches and retests us—because we repeatedly fail His test. Common Loops focus on our finances, broken relationships, and our response to authority. Describe one Loop in your life. Privately write down what you’d like to tell the Lord about it or share that here if you are comfortable doing so.

One repeated loop that I take and retake is on finances. I easily tend to worry about how to provide for my family. Again and again show me and direct me that God is the only source of security. He reassures me that He is enough. He provided and he will provide. He “is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,” (Eph. 3:20)

A very difficult situation to have to face this type of personal crisis without recognizing, acknowledging God.
