In our last lesson we paid attention to the theme of scattering. God’s people were being sent away from Jerusalem and Israel to the broader world. In this lesson we’ll be looking at a theme that may seem like the opposite: restoration. Restoration is about God bringing people home

How will that make sense for Jews, many of whom were still waiting for a full restoration of Israel to its Old Testament glory? And what does restoration mean for gentiles who could be described as “looking for God in all the wrong places”?

Let’s follow Paul . . . who is comfortable in both Jewish and gentile settings . . . as he invites both Jew and gentile to come home to their God.
