New Testament discipleship can be thought of as the imitation of Christ. It may be that this is nowhere more apparent than in Matthew 10 where Jesus instructs His disciples about the things they will do (or have done to them). Notice how it parallels what Jesus does (or has done to Him) in this same Gospel.
