This module has given us a chance to immerse ourselves in the teachings of Christ. That’s an ambitious objective, but staying with the “big picture” helps. It’s really been about the Kingdom of God, from beginning to end. The Kingdom was coming—it was at hand—for those who have spiritual eyes and ears.
The big questions for us today are the same as they were for Jesus’ listeners so long ago. The Kingdom of God is always “at hand.” Have we accepted the terms to live under God’s reign? The next module will remind us of the centrality of the cross as the way of this King.
