  1. What is your favorite verse that describes God? In this exercise you will start with one of your favorite verses that describes God (one that is not already part of a parable) and create a modern-day parable to communicate that characteristic of God in an analogical form. Try to make the parable as relevant as possible, incorporating contemporary details or examples. Use the space below to provide your Bible verse and your parable. Try to limit your parable to 500 words. The fewer the better!
