Luke’s Gospel shines a light on Jesus’ compassion for the oppressed and the marginalized. While in Matthew we heard more about the little ones, in Luke it is the lost, the last and the least. Both Gospels show us what kind of people make up the Kingdom of God. For Luke, this is central to the mission of Jesus.

Let’s peek in on some of the encounters Christ had with the untouchables of His time, and witness His persistence as He seeks out the very same people the rest of the world had stigmatized.
