Paul traveled over 10,000 miles (16,093.44 km) (!) on three missionary journeys that took him from the Eastern Mediterranean, across Asia Minor and into Greece. He describes the challenges of his journeys in 1 Corinthians 11:21-29. Above all the physical hardships, the apostle mentions the burden of these church plants, most of which faced internal and external pressures as they took root in a mix of Jewish and gentile soils. This next map will introduce you to the key sites in Paul’s ministry. You will become more acquainted with each journey in the lessons that follow.
