That overview should have inspired you with a sense of the inevitable movement of God’s kingdom across the known world. And that movement continues today. But you may still be wondering how much of what is described in Acts was only for the first century? The more we pay attention to the global church, the more we’ll discover that the miracles, the calling of leaders, the radical faith and faithfulness of believers, are all indisputable evidence that the Holy Spirit is still on the move in dramatic and powerful ways. All of us are invited to participate in the “Mission of God”—the most important movement of any age.
