I found it interesting that in the middle of the storm, I should be focusing on Chist. He is the one that has the solution and will bring me through. The storm is just a distraction.

That God is always thinking of us. God is in control of everything in our life and the world. Even when we in a difficult place.

When a person builds his life on Jesus’ words he is building a strong foundation to weather the storm in life. Jesus is teaching us to look toward him for wisdom and guidance.

This is all good information, but it is surprisingly interesting how all of this ties into my making, spending, saving and growing my wealth.

Christian Learning Center Forums How does the idea of being a pilgrim impact your thinking regarding finances and possessions?

We are ambassadors for Christ, this is not our eternal home, and our earthly lives are short. Therefore in our earthly pilgrimage, we are to live unattached. Possessions should be viewed as tools to facilitate our mission. We are not to get too focused on temporary things, but rather desire the eternal or invisible. Material possessions here will get left behind.

I am ashamed of how much money I have wasted on material things in my lifetime. I am going to give more and use it to help others.
