Compass Commentary

When we begin the journey as a follower of Christ, we probably know very little of what God’s expectations really are. So where do we look? Being discipled and led by others can be valuable, but everything should be focused on God’s Word, the Bible. Through studying, memorizing scripture, applying these principles to daily living, and prayer, the Bible will come to life, and speak to us about every situation we may experience. It is the source for wisdom, and while it will convict us when we move away from God, it will also re-assure us of His love for us and be our guide for every single day of our lives.
