How important is the Resurrection to the Gospel? Would we have good news at all if Jesus hadn’t risen from the dead? Actually, the credibility of everything the Gospels say about his identity is at stake in these questions. Others had power over sickness and some even had brought people back to life. But to rise from the dead with a resurrection body—to conquer death—that is what makes him more than a teacher and a healer. 

Let’s head back to those final days when Jesus revealed himself to eyewitnesses, so that they could begin sharing the really good news that would eventually reach around the globe.
