The new list of commandments found in Exodus 34:28 follows the apostasy of the community. Consider how those events may be informing differences you see in Exodus 34 compared to Exodus 20.
- Create two lists to compare the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20 and 34. Could you fit all the commands from Exodus 34 into ten lines, or did you need more lines? Why?
- Describe the differences and/or additions between your list from Exodus 20 and this new list from Exodus 34. What might explain the differences?
