This lesson wraps up the book of Exodus with a very strong emphasis on God’s presence—and for good reason. The last half of the book is dominated by the design and construction of the Tabernacle. When reflecting on this part of the Bible, what were your takeaways?

If you were terrified that “our God is a consuming fire”… did you at least begin to feel welcomed into His awesome presence? What did you think about God the master architect, and the spiritual empowering of craftsmen like Bezalel and Oholiab? That usually re-energizes people with a sense of the sacredness of all work for God.

Did you find anything disconcerting about extra-biblical law parallels, or did they help reframe God’s choices to communicate in cultural forms ancient Israel would have understood? And they would have understood the uniqueness of God’s laws. We trust this module has been a good journey for you and that you have a deeper respect for God’s Presence and God’s Word.
