Lesson Overview
Now that you’ve learned to recognize when you’re in test failure, is there anything proactive you can do to help yourself pass a test? In this lesson, Dr. Wilkinson gives you five steps or “power tools” you can use when you find your faith dwindling during a test of faith. Learn to be a victor rather than a victim and one who possesses powerful faith rather than powerless faith.
Lesson Objectives
When you complete this lesson, you should be able to:
- Explain who bears responsibility for your level of faith during a test.
- Describe the seven levels of faith found in the Bible.
- Identify the five power tools for increasing your faith during a test and the biblical basis for each one.
- Explain how you can practically use each of the five power tools during a test of faith.
- Have confidence that you can increase your faith when facing a trial.
Personal Reflection
As you proceed through this lesson have the following question in mind.
Take a few minutes to write a short prayer of appreciation to the Lord about His amazing promise to grant abundant wisdom when you ask Him. Promise Him not to doubt—because He always keeps His promises!
