Lesson Overview
This lesson reveals the disparity between what we often believe about God and what Scripture tells us about God and how this discrepancy leads to unbelief. Learn to recognize the Triggers of Unbelief, remove them from your life, and tear down the box you’ve put around God!
Lesson Objectives
When you complete this lesson, you should be able to:
- Summarize the danger of unbelief.
- Explain how removing the Triggers of Unbelief can stop the process that leads to unbelief.
- Identify the five Triggers of Unbelief and the positive response to each one.
- Employ the concepts discussed in this course to identify the box you’ve put God in.
- Apply Scripture to remove the box you’ve put around God.
Personal Reflection
As you proceed through this lesson have the following question in mind.
Think about the roots of unbelief—often something that causes us to be offended at God for what He did or didn’t do. Describe what in the world causes you to be potentially offended at God. Why will that offense disappear in heaven when you see the full truth?
