Compass Commentary
When times are good and everything is going our way, the last thing we are likely to think is “what if this changes?” But we should expect challenges in our life; Jesus told us explicitly that we will have trials. He also told us to trust God and not fear. God has given us the ability to think and plan and prepare for challenging times. He expects us to take the actions appropriate to Our Part. Some of those actions include setting aside resources from today that can be used when needed in the future.
