That HE is LORD of all and HE is trustworthy and has all the resources and power to do as HE pleases and every situation will work for our good: because we love HIM>

What I thought to be mine was the Lord’s and I should be more thankful and understanding as to who is really in charge.

Possessions are not just things but include valuable intangibles also. Handling money faithfully helps to refine our character and draw us closer to God. We will either master money or money will become master over us. There are only positive benefits for us handling money God’s way, so why not just do that and be blessed.

I found it interesting that God is both predictable and unpredictable. Yet always reliable. It is guaranteed that He will provide but we do not always understand how or when. Also waiting to fulfill our wants is challenging and sometimes we try to classify them as needs when they truly are not. God delights in providing our needs and often our wants in His own good time.

I find it interesting that we make financial decisions, especially major ones, without consulting God first. This is unfortunate because we as Christians know that God truly owns it all and knows what is truly best for us. We are just loaned a small portion of it for a brief time. We often become impatient and impulsive. The God Owns All principle extends to every aspect of our financial decision making. Yes, we earn money with which to live but only because God allows us to do so. Therefore learning and living this will take an immense amount of unnecessary pressure off of ourselves and free us to become better stewards.
