Nothing is “mine” — it is what God has intrusted me with to use for his purposes.

How simple God sees finance. As long as your basic needs are being met you are good. Most people do not feel this way. They look for their finance to cover all of their needs and wants. God’s will be not to provide us with all of our wants but maybe some.

I never really put the two together. I know some of the basics, but we are to be wise in our spending. We are to give God a tenth of all that he has given us. We must also pay our bills not ignore them.

My credit score is above 700. I have learned many things about money. I have a master’s degree in accounting and finance, but I have gone bankrupt 3 times. Moving in and out of the work force is a problem for me. All that I accomplish with money fails when I cannot find steady work.

Everything that I possess is actually the Lord’s and I need to be more careful in the way I handle possessions.
