Everything I have accumulated over the years belongs to God. I should consult with him on all purchases and investments. He is Creator and Nothing is too difficult for him

Not much new info, I’ve been taught this most of my life; but very interesting how we view God affects our attitude and determines how we live. But what does this mean for free will… not sure what I think. Another very interesting thing, though I’ve been taught it, that God is in control of EVERYTHING, good and bad. Allowing things to happen to accomplish His will. This is a good reminder.

What I found out to he revealing, interesting, and one that is challenging is knowing as a person we strive effortlessly each day trying to real a goal of fulfillment, one that is compromised of things that go way beyond our basic needs. This striving takes us far off the path of basic needs. We don’t put as much worry into obtaining those wants and desires, however when we run into situations un which it seems like our basic necessities are being compromised, we then run crying, praying, and seeking God. We as people are basically pulling our hair out not knowing how things are going to work out. And even after we may have lost something “material” or a “possession”, our basic needs are met. And that is when we ultimately give God the praises. We forgot that He will always meet our needs.

What stood out and was most profound to me was rhe question asked at the end “What do you want me to do with your money?” Asking God what does he want us to do with what is His
