Finding a professional financial advisor you can trust. We generally seek recommendations from godly people we trust about pursuing a “third party” financial advisor.

I have heard teaching about counsel before, but what I find additional is the warning not to seek advice from sorcerers nor from someone who has a vested interest in a certain choice.

We should seek God and his word for advice. Other Godly counselors are helpful as well as experienced people and of course parents and those who have been through life’s challenges. Getting the facts for trustworthy sources/people will help us make good decisions.

My finances are tight. It seems like every penny is accounted for. So as a single mom, at the end of the day, there always seems to be just enough to make ends meet. There is very little wiggle room for savings after tithing but I do try. I budget and steward what I am given well.
