What in the notes did you find revealing, challenging or interesting?

All of it! I was never taught this before, I wish I was I would’ve invested a long time ago. And it was very interesting to read and know that God, the most high, has been teaching us this the whole time in the Bible. And that just shows, how much he loves us

What’s challenging is the desire to want to be rich RIGHT NOW! I believe most people struggle with waiting. So, instead of making good steward decisions, we make dumb greedy and selfish decisions.

I really love the Proverbs for their investment advice, and Ecclesiastes 11:2 actually blew my mind as I had never even considered that it had to do with diversifying investments. I personally can say that the Bible is the best investment adviser as I have done what it says ( I didn’t know I was following Biblical advice when I started investing!).

Jedidiah, your comments remind me of how God truly loves us. His love even gives us sound financial advice! In 2 Peter 1:3, it says, by his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.

When we give Having a heart to give is better than giving for compliments

Being a cheerful giver can be something the flesh attempts to get in the way of at times. I feel that building a deeper relationship with Yeshua (Jesus) can help peel back the onion layers of selfishness we may have from our fleshly way of thinking.

Who are people in your life that can give you wise counsel as it relates to investing? What questions would you ask them?

Robbin my cousin may be someone I would seek counsel from. I would ask her to help me understand what and why to invest in a certain savings bond or the stock market.

If you felt the temptation to become rich, what would you do to “split and submit”?

I would pray and ask God through Jesus Christ to help me be patient about investing in risky stocks.

What insights did you gain from completing the Investment Scenarios?

I learned about different investing ideas, and gained a better understanding of the different types of investing strategies.
