Lesson Overview

Lesson 5 examines leadership lessons learned from King Jehoshaphat and his son Jehoram. You will dig further into both the good and bad decisions of Jehoshaphat and explore the negative consequences suffered as a result of Jehoram’s evil choices.

When you complete this lesson, you should be able to do the following:

  • Discuss lessons learned from the kings Jehoshaphat and Jehoram.
  • Further examine the destruction resulting from unholy alliances.
  • Explore the advantages of delegation.
  • Understand how leading through destruction and confusion cannot engender righteous leadership.
  • Recognize that leaders reap what they sow, and understand how this applies to you and the people placed under your leadership.
