That was truly “good news,” right? Mark gave his world the real good news, and we have the same challenge. Can you think of how you might help people today recognize the Gospel for what it is? Chances are, it’s not what they think they’re looking for, but it’s exactly what they need. We’ll return to Mark’s version of the Gospel in our last lesson, but first we’ll turn to some more ways that this Gospel sits squarely on Old Testament expectations.
