Wrap-Up

As Mark comes to a close you’ll have a chance to ask the big Guiding Questions: what you’ve learned about God, about God’s people, about the relationship between the Testaments, about how Mark is like and unlike other literature of his day. And then you’ll ask yourself what God has been saying to you. We hope you’re inspired by the idea that that Gospel is both unchanging and tailored to its setting. We are all in the business of “translating” the good news to people who are at a distance. Mark put a lot of work into making sure that the Gospel was understood, even if it was rejected. And now, this hard work becomes our job as well.
