We ended this lesson with the idea that the New Testament is, to a certain extent, a commentary on the Old Testament. What do you think of that idea? How might it change the way we read the rest of the New Testament from here on out? Of course, there’s a lot more than commentary, but this is an element that we don’t want to forget going forward. The more we gain that comprehensive view of the whole Bible, and the unity of the Old Testament and New Testament, the richer our study of the Bible will become.
