Have you met anyone who liked rules? Not making or enforcing the rules, but actually keeping them? Probably not. There’s something about human nature, going all the way back to Adam and Eve, that bristles at being told what to do. 

This lesson is going to continue our journey into a fuller understanding of God’s laws as they were first given: in the context of a relationship and revelation—in the context of God’s plans and purposes for us … and for His world. 

Mount Sinai is going to be a place where God calls His people to a renewal of His intentions from the Garden of Eden. A sacred people who live with him in holiness. 

The Hebrew word Torah means instruction or law. Let’s find out why “Torah” is so central to God’s revelation.
