Looking into the process of how God forms a new nation out of a group of people coming out of enslavement in Egypt can be fascinating, but parts of this story can seem boring, largely because it seems irrelevant to our lives. In particular, the many instructions and laws given to the people through God’s messenger Moses seem obsolete from a modern perspective. However, there is much we can learn about God and His design for our lives that we don’t want to miss before moving on.
