This lesson gave us a chance to see a lot of second chances. It’s a tough task to lead God’s people, but, thankfully for them, God is extremely patient. 

We also saw how much patience it takes to trust God—when you’re in the sandals of Hannah or David. We hope you’ve been able to put yourself in the place of several of the characters we’ve met.

We’re not going to leave the books of Samuel just yet. Now that we have the big picture, we’ll focus on the main characters—one at a time.
