In this lesson we’ll explore the revival of Hezekiah. A pivotal moment occurs in his life when he experiences a severe illness followed by healing. Later, he makes a foolish mistake that will have lasting implications.

There are two accounts of Hezekiah’s illness and mistake in the Old Testament—2 Kings 20 and 2 Chronicles 32:24-31. These two accounts provide a different perspective.

  1. Read 2 Kings 20:12-19. Then navigate on YouVersion to 2 Chronicles 32:27-31 and read that passage. Reflect on the differences between these two accounts in your workbook.
