Because of a different audience and purpose, Chronicles differs from both 1 and 2 Samuel. This becomes apparent when texts are compared. Let’s look at a famous example.
First read the account of David’s census in 2 Samuel 24. Then navigate in YouVersion to 1 Chronicles 21 and read that chapter.
