Do you like advice? Maybe you don’t like hearing from certain people or at certain times, but hopefully you know that timely advice is, in the words of Proverbs, “like apples of gold in settings of silver.” Some sayings are passed around from generation to generation because they are so memorable—and so accurate. 

In this lesson we want to recognize the key themes and perspectives in Proverbs. We’ll also want to make sure we don’t confuse “principles” with “promises.” Let’s check it out.
