If you thought the divinity of Jesus in the other Gospels wasn’t entirely clear, it’s certainly clear in John. From the first verse onward, we witness the revelation of the same God who spoke His name to Moses.

The Early Church had no doubt that Jesus was fully man and fully God. This was a scandalous claim—and one that changed human history forever. It’s that unique mix—that Jesus is both fully man and fully God—that makes it possible for Him to be the true savior of humankind. Take some time to reflect on what that means to you.
