The Book of John was a spectacular way to end this course in the Gospels. We had the most expansive view of the identity of Christ, mixed with the most intimate conversations with seekers and followers. We were challenged directly by John to believe in the miraculous signs. This book may have been the last one written in the New Testament. If so, it’s a fitting reminder that the Gospel is not simply the beginning of the New Testament, it is the heart of it. Nothing else we will study makes sense apart from the meaning of Christ’s life, death and resurrection.

When you’re ready, we’ll see you in the book of Acts for Course 5. The story of Christ’s ministry in the world has not come to an end with the Gospels. In many ways, instead, it’s just beginning. The apostles are waiting to show us what happens after Christ ascends to heaven. It’s an exciting part of the Bible Journey and we look forward to walking that path with you.
