Wrap-Up

Did you find it surprising that Paul’s answer to the Corinthian problems wasn’t that different than his answer to the Galatians? With a healthy understanding of the role of the Holy Spirit, any congregation can be guarded from the excesses of legalism or license. 

We keep finding ourselves back in the old testament, rediscovering that these very ideas were seminal in the original covenant and explicitly central in the promises of a new covenant. 

Now, let’s turn our attention to another tension Paul addresses in the Corinthian context.
