Unity may sound easy, but anyone who’s attempted it knows that true unity is hard work—really hard. We’re so glad to have different voices underscore what Paul said by explaining what it looks like in contexts today. A vision for being real peace-makers and reconcilers is one big take-away from this lesson.

Are you also finishing this lesson with a clearer sense of what unity and order looks like in a church allowing the Spirit to lead in worship and ministry? This is another aspect of being a reconciled community: The church becomes a level playing field.

It’s time now to look at how Paul arrived at his understanding of apostleship and what implications that has for the kind of churches God called him to plant.
