No single lesson—or even an entire course, for that matter—can answer every question about the purity laws of the Torah. Rabbis and scholars have been studying them for millennia. But has your appreciation grown for the meticulous detail in these laws? Are you inspired by the divine blueprint for every aspect of life? God designed a path that led to life. Obedience expressed trust that the Designer knew what He was doing.

Having holy laws for so many minute details meant that all of life became an opportunity to express obedience and faith. Every time a person observed one of these laws, she was reminding herself that her life was His, that her whole life and the life of her entire community was lived for God. Her life was filled with reminders of God’s design and God’s purpose.

As you conclude this lesson, is there a particular takeaway? For some, it may be more careful obedience in the details. For others, it may be as simple as remembering to touch those in need. What will it be for you?
