We hope that the story of Jericho now has more meaning for you. Achan and Rahab are serious reminders of what it means to be God’s people, right? It’s a family issue that is relevant for us today. We can put a lot of people at risk by not understanding how important our obedience is not just individually, but for our brothers and sisters. And we can miss the beauty and diversity of God’s family when we misunderstand who’s in and who’s out. Now we’ll turn our attention to another campaign and learn more lessons about being God’s people on mission in the Promised Land.
