The book of Judges is explicit in its description of Israel’s spiral of unfaithfulness. Many of its scenes have direct correlations to the Pentateuch and its commands. The things that God commanded of Israel at the time of Moses are explicitly rejected in Judges, and the things that God prohibited are embraced.
