Jesus’ miracles can impact people, both those who witnessed them first-hand and those of us who read about them, in many different ways. Consider the following list of ways people describe their impression of Jesus’ miracles.

Jesus miracles …

Show his great compassion

Demonstrate his role as Judge over all moral creatures

Convince me that he loves me

Demonstrate that he opposes evil and suffering

Show that he can control everything

Convince me that he is no mere man

Convince me that a lesser being than God could not do what he did

  1. Do any of the points above convince you of Jesus’ divinity more than others? If so, which ones? Also list any other reasons Jesus’ miracles convince you of his divinity.
  1. As you think about your generation and culture more broadly, which miracles of Jesus do you think would speak most loudly of his divine nature to others?
