John ends this Gospel by telling his readers that he carefully chose only these few events in the life of Jesus so that he could make a case for faith in Him. Which of the signs do you find most compelling? Turning water into wine? Walking on the water? Raising Lazarus from the dead? Using the lens that John hands us, can you recognize signs in your own life that point unmistakably to the work of God? Yet some will still doubt, and perhaps ridicule our faith.

Let’s look at another layer of this Gospel that reveals more about the identity of Jesus.
