The Old Testament prepares us to encounter Jesus in the New Testament through a variety of institutional types. One of these is the priesthood, which prepared our ancestors to meet Jesus, our “merciful and faithful high priest” (Heb 2:17). Before this last brief video clip, skim Hebrews 4–8 to begin to appreciate His ongoing role on our behalf.
