Have we discovered all there is to know about the priests in the Bible yet? I’m sure most of us will need some time to really understand this unusual role. How were the priests and Levites different? How did their ancestry matter? What did they each have to do as their regular duties?
We’ll take another step into this ancient ritual world and discover how different it was to be a mediator rather than a magician, to be a leader who brought God’s will into the light, rather than a mysterious specialist whose search for the will of the gods was never out of the dark.
Once again, this journey is an invitation to reflect on your own role in this world, to be a mediator and a model worthy of the priestly calling.
