One way to signify the importance of Aaron and his sons was during a special consecration service involving blood. Read Leviticus 8 and Ezekiel 43 to learn about what you might call blood daubing. The Leviticus passage describes blood daubing on the bodies of priests and the Ezekiel passage describes blood daubing on the altar in a dedicatory rite.
