It’s pretty common for us to find flaws in the Bible’s great characters. That makes it easy to criticize those who are blind to their own shortcomings.
But are we so different?
What will our own legacy be? What’s at the foundation of our lives that will live on—for good or bad? Or, like Solomon, with a mix of both? We’ve seen a lot of people who started well but didn’t manage to finish well. Before you move on from this lesson, how God might be shining a light on the foundations of your life and ministry. Be as honest and radical as you need to be to stay on course for the long run.
