We’ve learned that the predictions of the prophets constitute the “spine” of biblical history. Let’s look in more detail at perhaps one of the more important predictions related to Israel (Northern Kingdom).
Read 1 Kings 14 and pay close attention to verses 15-16.
- How do these verses set the tone for the remainder of the historical account? What tone do they set?
Next, read Huldah’s prophecy in 2 Kings 22:14-20.
