Were you surprised to see how holistic the prophet’s ministry was? We expected judgment but what about mercy and compassion? What about love for enemies?
Did you have a chance to consider what was going on with Elijah and Elisha when they not only served outsiders but were served by them?
God doesn’t merely use us for what we might say or do for Him. He’s in a holistic relationship with all of His people, including those who serve and those who are served.
